Gravity Casting
Gravity casting is a manufacturing process that uses physical forces (such as gravity or mechanical pressure) to inject molten metal into the mould, allowing it to cool and solidify to form a metal casting of the desired shape. The metal or alloy is first heated to the melting temperature in aluminum gravity casting and then poured into the mould. The mould can be single-mode or multi-cavity, depending on the design and production batch of the product. A gravity or additional pressure system is usually used to ensure the metal is filled inside the mould and excludes air bubbles so that the finished product has a higher density and quality. Tung Shuhn Precision Industry is a professional gravity casting manufacturer. Customized parts are welcome to inquire.
Gravity casting is suitable for casting of various shapes and sizes, and it's particularly suitable for large and relatively simple geometries. It has the following main advantages:
Efficient production:
Fast production speed, suitable for mass production.
Cost-effectiveness:
The manufacturing cost is low compared to other high-precision casting methods.
Strong adaptability:
It can cope with the casting needs of various metals and alloys and has a wide range of applications.
